On September 9 and 10, 2026, the first International Space Summit will be held at the Grand Palais in Paris. Organized at the initiative of the President of the Republic, this event will bring together the global space community, including heads of state and government from around the world, representatives of international organizations, members of parliament, scientists, military officials, and astronauts.
The Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France has been selected as one of the eight official partners of the International Space Summit. This recognition highlights our role in developing, improving, and promoting space sector training programs in the Paris region, as well as our close ties with the student community, particularly through our support for student organizations.
The Summit will also focus on the younger generations who will shape the future of space exploration. The inclusion of the Académie Spatiale and Astres, the Strategic Alliance of Space Students, among the official partners underscores the Summit’s clear commitment to youth.
Around the Summit: Initiatives Led and Supported by the Académie Spatiale
In conjunction with the International Space Summit, the Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France is highlighting several initiatives that illustrate its work with students, young professionals, and, more broadly, the space community. Training, professional networking events, student engagement, gender equality, and international cooperation: these projects help build bridges between industry stakeholders and prepare future generations for the major challenges facing the space sector.

Space Executive School – July 2026
Training young professionals on the major challenges facing the space sector
The Space Executive School is a residential continuing education program that brings together decision-makers, experts, and emerging talent from the space sector. Accredited by the General Secretariat of the International Space Summit, the Space Executive School has facilitated discussions on the impact of the climate crisis on the space sector.
Aerospace Student Federation – Nov. 2026
Bringing the student community together
The Academy is supporting the creation of this new federation, which aims to build a dynamic network between students and organizations in the space sector, as well as to highlight the initiatives that arise from it.
The FEA’s first student conference, currently being organized, will be held on November 28.

Connecting school students with college students
The Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France has joined the new “Entre jeunes” feature on the My Job Glasses platform: middle school students and older now have the opportunity to connect with Academy students who are further along in their academic journey.

This unique podcast aims to amplify and normalize women’s voices in a field where they are still far too underrepresented. A series of personal stories presented by the nonprofit La Bêta-Pi and Jules Grandsire, with support by the Académie Spatiale.

Envisioning Tomorrow’s Applications Based on Space Data
This space data hackathon is being organized by the CMA France 2030 projects: Académie Spatiale, Cap Biospace, and Cometes. It will take place January 7–8, 2027, simultaneously at multiple locations across France.
Space Academy African Meeting – mars 2027
Strengthening international cooperation between Africa and Europe
From March 22 to 24, 2027, against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving geopolitical and diplomatic landscape, this event aims to foster a structured dialogue between African and European academic stakeholders, identify areas for collaboration, and share advances in space research, innovation, and policy.
Les 9 et 10 septembre 2026, se tiendra au Grand Palais à Paris, le premier Sommet international sur l’espace. À l’initiative du Président de la République, cet évènement réunira la communauté spatiale mondiale, notamment des chefs d’État et de gouvernement du monde entier, des représentant·es d’organisations internationales, des parlementaires, des scientifiques, des militaires et des astonautes.
L’Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France a été choisie pour faire partie des huit partenaires officiels du Sommet international sur l’espace. Cette reconnaissance souligne notre rôle dans la structuration, l’amélioration et la diffusion des formations du secteur spatial en Île-de-France, ainsi que nos liens étroits avec sa communauté étudiante, notamment à travers notre soutien aux associations étudiantes.
Le Sommet sera également tourné vers les nouvelles générations qui construiront le spatial de demain. La présence de l’Académie Spatiale et d’Astres, l’Alliance Stratégique des Étudiants du Spatial, parmi les partenaires officiels illustre l’engagement clair du Sommet envers la jeunesse.

À l’occasion du Sommet international sur l’espace, l’Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France met en lumière plusieurs initiatives qui illustrent son action auprès des étudiant·es, des jeunes professionnels et, plus largement, de la communauté spatiale. Formation, rencontres professionnelles, engagement étudiant, égalité femmes-hommes et coopération internationale : ces projets contribuent à créer des passerelles entre les acteurs du secteur et à préparer les futures générations aux grands enjeux du spatial.

Former les jeunes professionnels aux grands enjeux du secteur spatial
La Space Executive School est un programme résidentiel de formation continue réunissant décideurs, décideuses, expert·es et talents émergents du secteur spatial. Labellisée par le Secrétariat général pour le Sommet International sur l’Espace, la Space Executive School a permis d’échanger sur l’impact de la crise climatique dans le spatial.
Fédération Étudiante de l’Aérospatiale – Nov. 2026
Fédérer la communauté étudiante
L’Académie accompagne la création de cette nouvelle fédération qui a pour vocation de créer un réseau dynamique entre les étudiant·es et les associations du secteur spatial, ainsi qu’à de mettre en lumière les initiatives qui en découlent.
Le premier congès étudiants de la FEA, en cours d’organisation, se tiendra le 28 novembre.

Mises en contact des plus jeunes avec les étudiant·es
L’Académie Spatiale d’Île-de-France rejoint la nouvelle fonctionnalité « Entre jeunes » de la plateforme My Job Glasses : les jeunes dès le collège ont la possibilité d’échanger avec des étudiantes et des étudiants de l’Académie plus avancés qu’eux dans leur parcours.

Ce podcast unique a pour ambition d’amplifier et de normaliser les voix féminines dans un domaine où elles sont encore trop sous-représentées. Une série de témoignages proposée par l’association La Bêta-Pi et Jules Grandsire, et soutenu par l’Académie Spatiale.

Imaginer les application de demain à partir des données spatiales
Ce hackathon sur les données spatiales est lancé par les projets CMA France 2030 : Académie Spatiale, Cap Biospace et Cometes. Il se tiendra du 7 au 8 janvier 2027 en simultané dans plusieurs lieux en France.

Du 22 au 24 mars 2027, dans un contexte géopolitique et diplomatique en pleine recomposition, cet évènement à pour ambition de créer un dialogue structuré entre les acteurs académiques africains et européens, d’identifier des axes de collaborations et de partager les avancées en recherche, innovation et politiques spatiales.
