planet, providing a different perspective of Earth from orbit and enabling long-distance communication. It also covers all data that helps to develop new space-related applications.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are numerous applications closely linked to the space sector, and they are already ubiquitous; yet, ultimately, few people are aware of this, and many more applications can still be developed using the data already available. Launch vehicles and space technology are often regarded as strategic, but the data is no less so and is also a source of innovation and commercial applications accessible to all. New digital tools \u2013 including those for modelling, AI and visualisation \u2013 make it possible to expand the use of data even further and to combine very different datasets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CMA \u2018Skills and Careers of the Future\u2019 projects, led by various organisations involved in training, cover our region and a wide range of fields: from launch vehicles and satellites to space missions, communication systems, traffic management and data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organised across several venues, this event offers participants the opportunity to work in teams for 24 hours with the help and guidance of coaches. This exercise has several objectives. It enables participants to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Harness their skills within a short timeframe and develop their agility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To recognise the strength of the team and their individual strengths<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To tackle new challenges and perhaps decide to train for a career in the space sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To learn more about the space sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To gain an understanding of the different stages of innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To test ideas for applications to be developed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-c29f018f wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This hackathon will take place simultaneously at several venues across France on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 January 2027. The hackathon is open to everyone and is particularly aimed at students in their third year of university (L3) and young professionals with less than three years\u2019 work experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each venue will offer participants a specific set-up depending on the location. Some venues will provide refreshments and allow students to stay overnight on site with their own equipment. The winning teams from each venue will receive a prize, and all winners from each venue will give a public presentation of their project, which is sure to be of interest to stakeholders in the space sector, companies, research laboratories, business incubators and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each team will consist of 3 to 5 people. Teams may arrive as pre-formed groups or be formed on site. The challenge will consist of a brainstorming session, followed by a phase of organising ideas (rationale, implementation, target audience, business model, etc.) lasting until late into the night. Then, in the morning, the teams will prepare their pitch using a PowerPoint presentation. In the afternoon, each team will present to a panel of judges for 8 minutes, outlining their idea and answering a few questions from the judges. Finally, at the end of the afternoon, each venue will announce its winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><em>Please note: At the Cap Biospace site in Bordeaux, the hackathon will be open to a more limited audience and the teams will be formed by the organising team. class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contexte<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ce premier hackathon est focalis\u00e9 sur les donn\u00e9es spatiales qui arrivent sur Terre en tr\u00e8s grand nombre, qui couvrent souvent toute la plan\u00e8te, qui apportent une autre vision de la Terre depuis l\u2019orbite terrestre et permet de communiquer \u00e0 longue distance. Mais \u00e9galement toutes les donn\u00e9es qui aident \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles applications en lien avec l\u2019espace.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les applications qui sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9es au domaine spatial sont nombreuses et d\u00e9j\u00e0 partout mais finalement peu en sont conscients et beaucoup d&rsquo;applications peuvent encore \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es \u00e0 partir des donn\u00e9es d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponibles. Les lanceurs et la technologie spatiale est souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme strat\u00e9gique mais les donn\u00e9es ne le sont pas moins et sont \u00e9galement sources d\u2019innovation et d\u2019applications commerciales accessibles \u00e0 tous. Les nouveaux outils num\u00e9riques, de mod\u00e9lisation, d\u2019IA, de visualisation permettent de multiplier encore davantage l\u2019utilisation des donn\u00e9es et de coupler ensemble des jeux de donn\u00e9es tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-width:1px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectifs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les projets \u00ab&nbsp;Comp\u00e9tences et M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Avenir&nbsp;\u00bb port\u00e9s par diff\u00e9rents \u00e9tablissements impliqu\u00e9s dans la formation couvrent notre territoire et des domaines tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9s&nbsp;: des lanceurs, aux satellites, aux s\u00e9jours dans l\u2019espace, aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments de communication, \u00e0 la gestion du trafic, jusqu\u2019au donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organis\u00e9 sur plusieurs sites, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement offre aux participants l&rsquo;opportunit\u00e9 de travailler en \u00e9quipe pendant 24h avec l\u2019aide et les conseils de coachs. Cet exercice a plusieurs objectifs. Ce hackathon est ouvert \u00e0 tous et \u00e0 toutes et est particuli\u00e8rement destin\u00e9 aux \u00e9tudiant\u00b7es de L3 jusqu\u2019aux jeunes actifs de moins de 3 ans de vie professionnelle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque site proposera aux participants une organisation sp\u00e9cifique en fonction du lieu. Certains sites proposeront des collations, et permettront aux \u00e9tudiants de dormir sur place avec leurs propres mat\u00e9riels. Les \u00e9quipes gagnantes de chaque site, recevront un prix et tous les gagnants de chaque site feront une pr\u00e9sentation publique de leur projet, qui ne manquera pas d\u2019int\u00e9resser les acteurs du spatial, les entreprises, les laboratoires de recherche, des incubateurs ou investisseurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque \u00e9quipe sera constitu\u00e9e de 3 \u00e0 5 personnes. Les \u00e9quipes pourront arriver constitu\u00e9es ou se feront sur place. L\u2019\u00e9preuve consistera en une partie de brainstorming, puis d\u2019une phase d\u2019organisation des id\u00e9es (justification, mise en \u0153uvre, cible vis\u00e9e, mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique, \u2026) jusqu\u2019\u00e0 tard dans la nuit. Puis le matin les \u00e9quipes pr\u00e9pareront leur pitch sur une pr\u00e9sentation powerpoint. L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi chaque \u00e9quipe passera devant un jury et pr\u00e9sentera pendant 8 mn son id\u00e9e et r\u00e9pondra \u00e0 quelques questions du jury. Enfin en fin d\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, chaque site d\u00e9voilera ses gagnants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><em>A noter : Sur le site de CAP BIOSPACE \u00e0 Bordeaux, le hackathon sera ouvert \u00e0 un public plus restreint et les \u00e9quipes seront form\u00e9es par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe organisatrice. Par ailleurs, le programme (voir ci-dessous) pourra \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement modifi\u00e9 compte tenu du nombres r\u00e9duit de groupes et de pr\u00e9sentations
